AT APEX
In her role as Chief of Staff, she extends the reach of the CEO through responsibility for the firm’s corporate strategy, corporate development and operating rhythm. In addition, she manages critical internal and external initiatives.

BEFORE APEX
Prior to her role as Chief of Staff at Apex Clearing, Britton served as Director of Business and Product Management at E*TRADE. In her role, she led a revenue growth initiative responsible for defining and executing the vision, metrics, and customer experience roadmap. Before her time at E*TRADE, Britton was Director of Strategy and Finance at OptionsHouse in charge of strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and financial planning and analysis for the firm. Britton led the sell-side diligence of the $725M sale of OptionsHouse to E*TRADE in the summer of 2016. Britton started her career at The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as an Associate Economist before taking on her role as Deputy of the Secretary of the Federal Advisory Council. Following business school, Britton was an Assistant Vice President of Corporate Strategy at State Street Bank.

Britton earned a BA degree in Business and Spanish from Ohio Wesleyan University and an MBA in Strategy and Finance with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE
In her free time, Britton enjoys all types of workouts including yoga, spin, and interval training as well as always finding new adventures whether at home, in Chicago, or on the road.
